Unusual and inviting bed and breakfast guest house in a Fife coastal village

Welcome to Cardinals Folly Guest House

.A warm welcome to our new, unusual and very Scottish guesthouse. This converted church, built in 1847, isn't your average building and the historic conservation village of Kinghorn isn't your average location. So come inside for a peek at some of the intriguing things we have to offer

Walk with me a little, if you will........

through a little old fishing village with two harbours, past the imposing old town hall and jail, up to a magnificent stone church set back from the road.

Inside this quiet and deeply tranquil building, our bed and breakfast guests are treated to individually

and newly decorated twin or double rooms with TV, free WiFi, and sumptuous, luxury beds and linen,

all with en-suite shower rooms and hospitality trays. A warm and cozy guest lounge awaits for those

times of rest or inclement weather, offering TV, DVD, video, board games, books & magazines

and company.

But whether it's cool, quiet and shady on a hot day or snug and strong on a howling stormy night,

it's a very evocative building whose thick, sandstone walls have stood in silent witness to the passing

of over 170 years.

Just a note...

We do have to go out on a regular basis to attend to shopping, laundry, appointments etc so it really is important that you please let us know an approximate time for your arrival so we can ensure someone is here to greet you. The rooms will all be cleaned and ready by 4pm however you're most welcome to leave bags with us if you arrive before that time.
